Terms of Service

This document is provided for transparency during our private beta. It is a starting template and not legal advice.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and your company (“you”) and Suitecraft LLC (“Suitecraft,” “we,” “us”) governing your access to and use of the Suitecraft platform and related apps and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Suitecraft provides software tools for organizing and running construction projects — including scheduling, punch lists, deliveries, and team coordination. The Service is a tool to help you manage information; it does not provide engineering, architectural, legal, financial, or safety advice.

2. Beta service

The Service is currently offered as a private beta. It may contain bugs, change, or be interrupted without notice, and features may be added or removed. The Service is provided free of charge during the beta; we may introduce paid plans later with advance notice. No service-level or uptime commitments apply during the beta.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account and the accounts of users you invite. Tell us promptly at help@suitecraft.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Your data and content

You retain all rights to the data and content you and your users submit to the Service (“Your Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Data solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for Your Data, including its accuracy and your right to use it, and for backing up anything critical.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Service unlawfully or to violate others’ rights;
upload malware or attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the Service or its security;
access data of another customer, or attempt to circumvent tenant isolation;
reverse engineer, resell, or copy the Service except as allowed by law;
misuse invitations or send unsolicited or unlawful communications through the Service.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Suitecraft LLC and its licensors. Except for the rights expressly granted here, we reserve all rights. Your feedback may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.

7. Termination and data retention

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe poses a risk. After your account ends, we retain Your Data for a grace period (currently at least twelve months) so you can recover it, after which it may be permanently deleted. You may request export or deletion at help@suitecraft.ai.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. You are solely responsible for your construction work and business decisions, including compliance with building codes, permits, safety requirements, contracts, and applicable law. Suitecraft is an organizational tool and is not a substitute for professional judgment.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Suitecraft LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100. Because the Service is provided free during the beta, this amount may be $0.

10. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify Suitecraft LLC against claims arising from Your Data, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, in-app or by email). Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where prohibited by law.
